Wimbledon loses its reigning force as Alcaraz prioritizes wrist recovery

Carlos Alcaraz has withdrawn from Wimbledon as he continues to recover from a right wrist injury that already forced him out of the French Open. The world No. 2 says he’s improving, but not far enough along to risk a return on grass.
