Giants show fight again, but late Thunder surge keeps Joburg winless in BAL

Johannesburg Giants fell to 0-2 in the 2026 BAL Kalahari Conference after a 71–65 defeat to Nairobi City Thunder, their third loss overall in the competition. Strong performances from Jakobi Heady and Nkosinathi Sibanyoni weren’t enough as the Thunder closed with more poise and shot-making.
